Little Timmy runs inside with a scraped knee, you clean it up and then spy a few red spots on your carpeting later on.<\/p>\n<p>It can be tricky <em>removing blood stains from carpet<\/em>, but it can be done.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><small>Removing Blood from Carpet<\/small><\/h2>\n<p>Its hard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/old-carpet-stain-removal\">removing stains from carpet<\/a> in general, but blood can be a tough one to get out. To get <strong>blood out of carpet<\/strong>,\u00a0you&#8217;ll need the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scent-free liquid dishwashing detergent<\/li>\n<li>Cold water<\/li>\n<li>Brush (if stain is dry only)<\/li>\n<li>Clean cloth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Take a tablespoon of your scent-free detergent and mix it with two cups of cold water. Using your clean cloth, place it in your solution and blot the stain. Remember to never rub the stain as that will push it further into the fibers. Continue to blot the stain and repeat the process until the stain is gone.
