The Carpet Guys want to break down the process for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"10 Easy Steps to New Flooring (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/10-easy-steps-to-new-flooring\/\" target=\"_blank\">10 Easy Steps to New Flooring<\/a> and this is Step 4 in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s early in the morning. &nbsp;The sun isn\u2019t even breaking on the horizon. Most people are still snuggled in bed, under the covers.&nbsp; But our warehouse crew has already arrived, put the coffee on, and are unplugging the forklifts from the charging stations.&nbsp; All carpet or sheet vinyl cuts are complete.&nbsp; Boxes of laminate, hardwood or LVP\/LVT are on pallets and ready to be acclimated to your home.&nbsp; Our dispatcher has printed out every work order and has coffee in hand as she turns the space heater on in her office.&nbsp; When that first installers van rolls into the warehouse at 7am, we are ready to roll!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img width=\"1024\" height=\"439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/iStock-1135274406-1024x439.jpg\" alt=\"The Carpet Guys warehouse in the early morning load out cartoon image\" class=\"wp-image-6056\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/iStock-1135274406-1024x439.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/iStock-1135274406-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/iStock-1135274406-768x329.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/iStock-1135274406-1536x658.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.carpetguys.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/iStock-1135274406-2048x878.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The installer arrives and receives their scheduled work\norders from our dispatcher.&nbsp; She has\nalready coordinated how many installations can be scheduled for that day.&nbsp; This is dependent on many factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>How many square feet of product will be installed<\/li><li>Which product is being installed<\/li><li>If the space for installation is a simple square or has many cuts and objects to contend with<\/li><li>Is there furniture to move and how much<\/li><li>If the installer is pulling out an old floor or laying overtop<\/li><li>How many assistants the installer has on their crew or if they work alone<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-coverage-area\"><em>Coverage Area<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The installation crew knows who the customer is and where\nthey are going for their installation, based on their paperwork.&nbsp; The Carpet Guys currently cover southeast\nMichigan.&nbsp; We go as far north as\nInterstate 69 and west as U.S.-127.&nbsp; This\nincludes locations like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Memphis<\/li><li>Fowlerville<\/li><li>Manchester<\/li><li>Milan<\/li><li>Flat Rock<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the crew knows where they are going, they load your specific flooring into their van.&nbsp; They check the work order for any transitions, seam tape, or other tools they may need to load before leaving.&nbsp; This is when they pull out of the warehouse and make the call to the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-installation-is-on-the-way\"><em>Installation is on the Way<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When scheduled, you&#8217;re given a day for your installation.&nbsp; It is difficult to be exact about the arrival time since it depends on factors outside of our control.&nbsp; How far the home is from our warehouse?
