The fact that it has no grout or very few seams means there is nowhere for moisture to get below the surface. It can be installed on smooth concrete or subfloors.&nbsp; It\u2019s inexpensive and scratch-resistant. &nbsp;It\u2019s also softer underfoot than tile or stone.
